When God tries to talk to us about heaven, it's more difficult that trying to explain a microwave oven to a desert nomad from 3,000 years ago. Plus, we can't even account for 95% of the matter and energy in our own universe -- it's "dark" energy and matter. So, when we talk about heaven, we need to put on our trusting child ears and listen for what God is trying to tell us rather than analyze biblical data as though it were possible for us to really understand our existence in the next life. This is good news because God tells us that heaven is a party!
