Love Expels FearFear NotOur love grows more perfect because love expels fear. Not our love, but God’s love. This is a place free from fear of competition, fear of being hurt, fear of not being known, fear of not enough. In the presence of God’s perfect love those things disappear like a fleeting vapor.We pray that you would step into the river of God’s love and begin to overflow. That your love would not come from a place of striving, but from a place of rest. May the love others feel when they are with you be the same love that Jesus exuded everywhere He went.And as we live in God, our love grows more perfect. So we will not be afraid on the day of judgment, but we can face him with confidence because we live like Jesus here in this world.Such love has no fear, because perfect love expels all fear. If we are afraid, it is for fear of punishment, and this shows that we have not fully experienced his perfect love. We love each other because he loved us first.If someone says, “I love God,” but hates a fellow be
