Would you assume that if a parent, boss or coach gave you more rules that he or she was caring for you? You may be tempted to think that they are trying to control you and get their own way. God cares greatly for his people. He cares about the details of our daily lives. So much so that he gave these laws in Exodus 20-23 so he could help his people apply the ten commandments to their daily life.
