Sometimes God afflicts us only to bless us if we turn to him. We want God to give us things but are we willing to give back to God the thing that we ask for for his glory and his service. Have you asked for healing of your body so that you may serve God more? Have you asked God to improve your finances so you can give more? Have you asked God to give you his voice so you can testify more? Affliction is the opportunity for you to pray and for God to move in a mighty way.
