While they were eating, Jesus took bread, said the blessing, broke it, and giving it to His disciples said, "take and eat; this is my body." -Matthew 26:26For no one hates his own flesh, but rather nourishes and cherishes it, even as Christ does the Church, because we are members of His body. -Ephesians 5:29-30When you talk about His table, you're talking about the body of Christ - the Church.
