Happy Valentine’s Day! Singleness is a gift from God. So is marriage. And there is room in the church for both to glorify God as one big happy family on this week’s episode of Nobody Special. The boys of Nobody Special tackle the subject of singleness in the church and all the blessings that come from it and the opportunities to serve the Lord in different ways. Then we look at the gift of marriage and how this too can provide different opportunities to serve the Lord and raise a generation of children. “To the unmarried and the widows I say that it is good for them to remain single, as I am. But if they cannot exercise self-control, they should marry. For it is better to marry than to burn with passion.”‭‭ (1 Corinthians 7:8-9, ESV)Then we look at what it means to love God. How do we pursue God with not only our brain but also to pursue God with a romance and affection. If God is our first love, how do we love God with not just our brains but our heart as well.
