Nobody Special

We have seem many version of A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens. Some of them are good and others not so much. We talk about the meaning behind them and then talk about the parable of the Rich Man and Lazarus. Jesus tells the parable of the Rich Man and Lazarus. Both die and stand before the Lord. The Rich Man, who denied Jesus, wanted to warn his friends and family about the coming wrath. But they already had their warning with Moses and the prophets. The council of scripture pushes us to act today. One life can make a huge difference and huge impact. There was a rich man who was clothed in purple and fine linen and who feasted sumptuously every day. And at his gate was laid a poor man named Lazarus, covered with sores, who desired to be fed with what fell from the rich man’s table. Moreover, even the dogs came and licked his sores.
