   Lisa welcomes  Mayor Vernon B. Parker of Sun Valley, AZ.  Vernon B. Parker, 52, is a rising star in the national Republican Party. Raised by his grandmother in a severely underprivileged neighborhood, Parker was able to escape the drugs and violence of his environment through love, education, and hard work.Previously, he served as Special Assistant to President George H. W. Bush. Parker was also nominated by President George W. Bush and unanimously confirmed with bipartisan support by the United States Senate, as an Assistant Secretary at the United States Department of Agriculture.
