Driven By The Bible

“He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, that we might die to sin and live to righteousness. By his wounds you have been healed.”‭‭1 Peter‬ ‭2:24‬ ‭ESV‬‬This is a strange passage. Peter is quoting from Isaiah 53, as he teaches his audience that their suffering is following in the pattern set by the Messiah, who suffered unjustly so that His righteousness could be transferred to us.
