“Better is a little with the fear of the LORD than great treasure and trouble with it.”‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭15:16‬ ‭ESV‬‬Our culture is overwhelmingly focused on wealth, possessions, goals, and achievements. We compare ourselves to others and determine our success or failure based upon how we stack up. But for those of us who follow Jesus, we are to have an upside-down paradigm. Rather than determining our success or failure by goals, possessions, wealth, and other similar measures, we should be willing to give all of that up if God asks us to.
