Happy New Year! Isaiah 43:19 - “Behold, I am doing a new thing; now it springs forth, do you not perceive it? I will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.”For many, the New Year brings excitement and hope and expectation. But for others, it is loaded with anxiety and uncertainty and even fear. 2017 may not have gone the way you’d hoped. And now, looking into 2018 seems overwhelming. Why does God promise to bring new things in places where things go to die?
