I have always had the opinion that those who want to “find themselves” are selfish and narcissistic,  and I think that is a true statement for most people who go on such self discovery expeditions.  BUT…. If you don’t know yourself, how can you give yourself to God? And how can anyone be in a healthy relationship with you? So there is a fine line between introspection (bad) and self awareness (good).
