Back in his day, when he was doing everything he could for God and with God and had a tremendous victory over the prophets of Baal, Elijah got threatened and discouraged. He felt he was fighting a losing battle. He felt the evil that surrounded him was just too much - so he fled, to the desert of all places. BUT GOD encouraged him. He fed him, strengthened him and told him about the remnant - 7000 strong!!! Today, in America, and in the world, those who have been fighting the good fight feel overwhelmed at times too. We are in Elijah-like days...
