The 5 Solas were beliefs that those seeking to reform the Church 500 years ago rallied behind. Inspired by historical Christian belief and the truth of the scriptures, these 5 doctrines remain as important and relevant today as they did 500 years ago. The doctrine of Sola Fide or By Faith Alone dared to challenge the notion that a person could be justified before God outside of the approval of a priest or a member of the clergy.
