Church. More than a building. More than an event. Matthew 16:13-18 is the first time that Jesus even mentioned the word church. He was accessing all of His disciples that His church will be built upon a rock. A solid foundation. So what is the purpose of the church? To preach the gospel. Church is not limited to a building, it happens where you are.
