Shadow and Bone, based of the books by the same name by Leigh Bardugo, recently premiered on Netflix and quickly rose to their top 10 shows. This show deals with many fascinating themes that Caleb and Danny look into like classism, favoritism, and the light and dark dichotomy. The Christian works in the understanding that light shines even in the darkness and the darkness is unable to overcome it. So often the world can seem as if darkness is winning. However, we must continue to hold our heads up high and understand that God created the heavens, earth, and everything in it and will be victorious no matter what. In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through him, and without him was not any thing made that was made. In him was life, and the life was the light of men.
