Accreditation is both a status and a process. It is a means to assure and improve higher service quality, assisting organizations private, governmental and public in using a set of standards developed by peers. Accreditation helps to provide the conditions necessary to develop diverse, flexible and robust practices throughout all aspects of the organization, by meeting threshold expectations of quality and ensures that they improve over time. In this episode, co-hosts, Jenni Frumer, Dr. Sheryl Gee and their guest Richard Klarberg, the President and CEO of the Council on Accreditation (COA) will discuss the value and challenges of accreditation.
