Jennifer Allison returns home to North Bay with her business Art and Sole Academy and sits down with Richard to discuss her career and creative process as a fashion and footwear designer, markers, artist and educator. Upon graduating from the Ryerson University Fashion Design program, Jennifer has had the opportunity to live and work throughout Canada, United States, South America, Europe and Asia fine tuning her craft while gaining industry experience designing for various companies such as Aldo, Abercrombie and Fitch, Awamaki, Pour La Victoire as well as several other private labels. Her designs have been featured in publications such as Vogue, Harpers Bazaar, In Style, Elle and Flare Magazine to name a few and have been worn by reputable icons such as Cameron Diaz, Anne Hathaway, Blake Lively and Rihanna.
