God likes noise. He loves to hear His people worship and make music for Him. He enjoys soft, pretty worship accompanied by strings and reverent voices. He also likes rowdy, celebratory praise backed by trumpets and resounding cymbals. So as Psalm 100 says, “Make a joyful noise!” Or as Chuck D. from Public Enemy says, “Bring the noise!”
