It’s a disease that thickens a person’s skin and organs, shutting down the organs of the body and causing up to 40 other diseases. It is, in reality, a death sentence. On this week’s show, Tom Wimsatt talks about the day he was diagnosed with the disease that gave him about 8 years to live. He’s 4 years into that 8 year journey, and he says it’s the best thing that’s ever happened to him! The physical and spiritual journey that he has been on is one he never could have imagined.
