Talent Agent Rob McCubbin of The Nexus Talent Group sits down with Richard to discuss his recent take over of the talent group and the side effects from COVID-19, the presence of acting on camera and his personal experiences in the arts and entertainment industry. Rob McCubbin is the Agent/Manager for The Nexus Talent Group. He strives to extend personal attention to all of his clients, with a dedication to their career growth, and a focus on ensuring long term success. In addition to being an Agent, Rob is a Dramatic Arts/English teacher at West Ferris Secondary School. Since 1994, he has directed award-winning Sears Festival and NTS Festival plays, including many Ontario Showcase productions. Rob has also acted in stage plays, and worked in film/television, for a number of years. Most recently, he performed in Gateway Theatre Guild’s Other Desert Cities, and Canadore College’s short film The Trees Have Ears.
