I always read this verse like Paul was getting on us: “As Christians, make sure and live for what really matters!” But that is not what it is going on in this chapter. Paul is talking about our pain and suffering. 2 Corinthians 4 is giving us hope! Yes, you are experiencing trouble and pain, but that is temporary.
