One Verse Devotional

When you place your hope in the Lord, He will renew your strength giving you wings like eagles. At some point, life gets to all of us. We have all experienced pain, suffering, or just flat out exhaustion. Have you ever felt like you simply didn’t have the energy or rest to carry on and face the day? I’m raising my hand! We could all use some rest and renewal. A little R&R. But how? Where can we get it, where does it come from? Thankfully, today’s One Verse Devotional gives us the answer. Isaiah 40:31 says, “But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary,  they will walk and not be faint.” When we place our hope and trust in God, He promises to renew our strength and give us wings like an eagle!
