One Verse Devotional

God has given us an awesome and sobering responsibility: To be stewards of His Creation! Let’s take care of this planet. When did it become some hot topic item that taking care of the planet was some horrible, left-wing agenda? Yet, I see that over and over again from many Christians. It’s a topic I really don’t understand. In our One Verse today, God lays out (in the very first chapter of the Bible, no less!) that He has placed us as stewards over His Creation. What an awesome and sobering responsibility! I remember my views on this topic changed about 10 years ago when we took a family vacation to Jackson Hole, Wyoming. It was gorgeous. Thousands of people come every year to see this beautiful landscape, go snow skiing (in summer!) or white water rafting. I loved hiking in the Grand Tetons. Gorgeous!
