How will the “Controversy of Zion” be played out in the end of days? To understand the end we must go back to the beginning. Biblical history is prophecy. One of the ways of God is that He works in patterns that repeat over and over. The Maccabees revolted against the Greek empire between 160-167 BC and they ultimately took back the Temple in Jerusalem. This happened in Kislev (December) and the commemoration of this event is what gives us the Jewish holiday of Hanukkah.
