Adam had the job of being the “door-keeper” in the Garden of Eden. In Genesis 2:15, it is written: Then the LORD God took the man and put him in the garden of Eden to tend and keep it. Genesis 2:15 A thief does not go through the door. In the garden of Eden, HaSatan came in as a thief. Adam was the guardian of the garden. He failed to guard the door to the garden: So when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree desirable to make one wise, she took of its fruit and ate. She also gave to her husband with her, and he ate. Genesis 3:6 We see in 1 Timothy 2:14, that it was Eve who was deceived. Adam was not deceived; he failed to guard the “gate” or doorway to the garden: And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived, fell into transgression. The community house is the Temple.
