We are given the indwelling Holy Spirit and we are given gifts of the Holy Spirit in order to help us to live a Torah-based lifestyle. What are these gifts of the Holy Spirit? (Ephesians 4:7-8). One of the gifts is righteousness as we are told in Romans 5:17: For if by one man's offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.
