Paul explains to us AFTER we are saved by grace through faith, that we are to then follow the written Torah of Yeshua by the indwelling Holy Spirit. Paul, who is talking primarily to a non Jewish audience explains an important Torah principle in 1 Cor 10: 1-4: Moreover, brethren, I would not that ye should be ignorant, how that ALL our fathers were under the cloud, and ALL passed through the sea; And were ALL baptized unto Moses in the cloud and in the sea; And did ALL eat the same spiritual meat; And did ALL drink the same spiritual drink: for they drank of that spiritual Rock that followed them: and that Rock was Christ. What Paul is showing us is a Torah principle, that when the covenant/commands were given at Mt Sinai, that this covenant was made with those who were THERE and with those who were NOT THERE: Neither with you only do I make this covenant and this oath; But with him that stands here with us this day before the LORD our God, and also with him that is NOT HERE with us this day. Deut 29:14-15
