Receive one who is weak in the faith, but not to disputes over doubtful things. Romans 14:1 In the KJV, it states: but not to “doubtful disputations”. What is Paul talking about here? For those that are “weak” in faith, we are not to judge their doubtful thoughts or their “doubtful disputations”. We can look some examples of what IS a doubtful disputation and what is NOT a doubtful disputation. Is eating pig a doubtful disputation? Deuteronomy 14:8 explicitly states that swine is unclean. In Mark 5:12-13, Yeshua casts out demons and they go into swine, an unclean animal. So, this is NOT a doubtful disputation that swine is unclean.
