Paul continues to share with us about understanding God’s righteousness and how we access that righteousness in Romans 10: Brethren, my heart's desire and prayer to God for Israel is, that they might be saved. For I bear them record that they have a zeal of God, but not according to knowledge. For they being ignorant of God's righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God. Romans 10: 1-3 Abraham gives us the Torah example; he believed God’s promise in faith and it was credited to him for righteousness (Galatians 3:6). We see this principle in these verses from Romans: But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets; Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference: For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.
