Paul takes the Torah principle of how God’s righteousness works, and he used Abraham as our example, and he is going to apply this principle to how we receive Yeshua for our salvation. We do this by faith, through grace, and then righteousness is imputed to us. And therefore it was imputed to him (Abraham) for righteousness. Now it was not written for his sake alone, that it was imputed to him; But for us also, to whom it shall be imputed, if we believe on him that raised up Yeshua our Lord from the dead; Who was delivered for our offences, and was raised again for our justification. Romans 4: 22-25 The righteousness of God by faith believes with the heart: That if you shall confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shall believe in your heart that God hath raised him from the dead, you shall be saved. For with the heart man believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
