Sinopsis

What are the rabbi’s expectations for the Messiah? What is it that they are looking for? What is the New Testament application and fulfillment of these Rabbinic expectations of the Messiah? In this session, we learn that the rabbis believe the following about the Messiah: *The light dwells with the Kingly Messiah We see that Yeshua is LIGHT: Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life. John 8:12 We see that the Torah is LIGHT: For the commandment is a lamp; and the Torah is light; and reproofs of instruction are the way of life. Proverbs 6:23 Jewish rabbinic sources also believe that the Messiah is the “one who breaks through”. He is the “breaker”, or the “parats”. I will surely assemble, O Jacob, all of thee; I will surely gather the remnant of Israel; I will put them together as the sheep of Bozrah, as the flock in the midst of their fold: they shall make great noise by reason of the multitude
