In other words, DURING the Feast of Unleavened bread, when you get to the Sabbath day, the NEXT day is the Feast of Firstfruits. When the children of Israel first came into the promised land, they were told to give a Firstfruit offering for inheriting the land of Israel. It is commanded in Torah that an offering of thanks be given when offering Firstfruits, for dwelling in and inheriting the land of Israel.
