They committed spiritual idolatry/adultery by breaking the marriage covenant at Mt Sinai by committing adultery against their bridegroom, Yeshua/Yahweh. Yeshua is going to die on the tree to forgive them of their sins. He will be offering forgiveness of sins to the entire world if they will repent.
