In the ministry of John the Baptist he is announcing the coming of the Messiah and the redemption for His people. Did you know that everywhere in the bible when you find the name Jacob it is spelled without the Hebrew letter vav except for 5 places where you do find the Hebrew letter vav. Also, everywhere you find the name Elijah, you DO see the Hebrew letter vav in the name….except for 5 places where it is NOT spelled with the Hebrew letter vav. Why is this?
