To worship is to give yourself to Jesus. To worship is to give your best to Jesus.  Devotion to Jesus is a demonstration of love.  We owe a sin-debt that we cannot pay.  Our sin-debt is cancelled through Jesus Christ.  Love for Jesus is the receipt that proves your debt has been cancelled.   Devotion to Jesus is a statement of faith. Jesus rebukes the ungrateful sinner. Jesus blesses the grateful sinner.
