(John 21:9, 12, 14) Inviting someone to come to church is a lot like asking a dating partner to meet your family. Both experiences involve vulnerability, risk, fear, and many other feelings. Rarely does a relationship move towards marriage without meeting the family. In the same way, a person's relationship with Jesus Christ can only grow so much without meeting the family (church).
