Imagine what it would have been like, to have lived in 1918. Spanish influenza killed approximately 3% of the world’s population. Other than the world war, international travel was fairly limited. There was no social media. No flu vaccine. No mechanical ventilators. No World Health Organization. A century later, we’re facing the next great pandemic. And what have we learned? What do we know?
