I started in accounting back in 1991, when it just kind of found me. I continued working for other companies for quite a few years, keeping records, preparing reports, payroll (you know, all the fun stuff), but also helping develop new policies, procedures and software implementations. I took night classes at SAIT, going for my Diploma in Business Administration with an Accounting major, where I graduated with honors in 2008. I established Bottom Line Bookkeeping a year later, giving me a place where I could work towards my personal vision of how bookkeeping should be done. I've always been a bit of a technology junkie, always wanting the latest and greatest, and I could really see the potential for technology to change the way bookkeeping and accounting were approached. What I love best about this field is solving problems for my clients.
