President of Zambia's United Party for National Development (UPND), Hakainde Hichilema, has successfully filed his nomination papers for the upcoming Presidential election. The UPND leader has settled for his Vice President as running mate and he joins a number of other candidates that have nominated females as their running mates for the 2021 elections.
