Malawi's Parliament has now confirmed Martha Chizuma as the new Director General of the Anti-Corruption Bureau, after a meeting on Monday. She was rejected last week amid divisions within the Parliaments' Public Appointments Committee. Malawi's President, Lazarus Chakwera, during his 2021 State-of-the-Nation Address, expressed unhappiness at the move and called for an audit.
