Timothy, my son, I am giving you this command in keeping with the prophecies once made about you, so that by recalling them you may fight the battle well, I Timothy 1:18 Paul encourages Timothy to remember the words that were spoken over him so that he might be able to gain strength for the current battle.  We should do the same.
