Welcome to the Americhicks WWII Project podcast. Kim Monson is your host. Retired Air Force Colonel Lowell Bell is in studio with Kim today. Colonel Lowell Bell is considered a 2nd generation Tuskegee Airmen. He graduated from the Tuskegee Institute and went into the Air Force in 1954. Because the "Tuskegee experiment" ended in 1949, Colonel Bell isn't sure he should be called a 2nd generation Tuskegee Airmen.
