"When the measure themselves by themselves and compare themselves among themselves, they are not wise." 2 Cor 10:12 It is probably the greatest source of unhappiness today: "comparing". We measure our happiness, we evaluate our lives, we base our self-esteem on comparison with others. Worse yet, we use comparison to make excuses for our sins.
