"For I decided to know nothing among you except Jesus Christ and Him crucified." 1 Cor 2: 2 It is entirely possible to know too much; especially when it comes to our need for salvation. Unsaved seekers balk at the 'simplicity' of the Gospel; their knowledge gets in the way! Cults, heresies and eccentric churches are man-centered; full of their own knowledge, with no real interest or patience for the only two things worth knowing: Christ and the Cross!
