Dr Corbett opens up Jeremiah’s other book of the Bible, Lamentations. A book of poetic prayers, we see Jeremiah pour out his mourning soul over the destruction of Jerusalem. Disappointment had consumed Jeremiah after his fellow countrymen had refused to hear the word of the Lord. But by reflecting on God's goodness, he was able to renew his hope.
