Ezekiel was a young man when Jeremiah the Prophet declared that Israel would be exiled to Babylon. Soon after the older Ezekiel was himself exiled to Babylon, God began to use him as a prophetic voice to the now exiled Israel. While Ezekiel became known as the Prophet In Exile, we could well describe him as The Disappointed Prophet.
