Psalm 25: 14 (ESV) The friendship of the LORD is for those who fear him, and he makes known to them his covenant. Jake teaches us about what it means to fear God, based on the Israelite's experience in Exodus chapter 20 (the giving of the 10 commandments). God doesn't want us to fear Him in a destructive way - He wants to live in relationship with us. Don't miss the invitation of a lifetime. Psalm 66:16-20 Come and listen, all you who fear God, and I will tell you what he did for me. For I cried out to him for help, praising him as I spoke. If I had not confessed the sin in my heart, the Lord would not have listened. But God did listen! He paid attention to my prayer.
