Marinating in Jesus and His words of life... I trust your summer has gone well and you have seen the LORD at work, sustaining and refreshing you. As we launch into the fall at Forestview, we want to marinate in Jesus and His words from the Sermon on the Mount.We are a COMMUNITY where people MEET Jesus and BECOME more like Him. In Matthew 5-7, Jesus is asking us to consider who God is.....and what He desires for His people. Jesus ' message is that our God is a loving Father who cares about our hearts, and NOT just our external deeds or religious practice. Jesus is actually inviting us into a way of life that is truly LIFE, a human flourishing life, life the way it was meant to be . This is a personal invitation from Jesus to reorient our values and vision of life, to deconstruct our old habits and ways of being, and refashion our lives by His teaching and model.Wow.
