Today we’re discussing ductal carcinoma in situ, or DCIS, breast cancer. Welcome, Dr. Wehner. Dr. Patricia Wehner: Thank you! Host: What is ductal carcinoma in situ, or DCIS, breast cancer? Dr. Wehner: So, ductal carcinoma in situ, which is referred to DCIS for short, is a stage 0 type of non-invasive breast cancer.
